Kenacort 40mg Injection contains triamcinolone as its active component, which belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used to relieve symptoms like pain, swelling occurring in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, skin allergies, and other allergic conditions.
 
How does Triamcinolone Acetonide work:
Triamcinolone replaces a chemical made in the body. It stops or lowers irritation and swelling. It lowers or stops the body's reaction to the allergen. It lowers the body's harmful response to diseases of the immune system.
 
Contraindications:
If you are allergic to Triamcinolone or any other ingredients of Kenacort 40mg Injection.
If you have any infection and have not yet started medicines to treat it.
High blood sugar. This most often goes back to normal when the drug is stopped. Chance of getting an infection. Wash hands often. Stay away from people with infections, colds, or flu. Belly pain. Upset stomach or throwing up. Many small meals, good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. Weight gain. Mood changes. Change in body fat. Weak bones with long-term use. Muscle weakness. Skin changes (pimples, stretch marks, slow healing, hair growth). Cataracts or glaucoma with long-term use.
It will be given to you in a hospital or clinic by a doctor or nurse as an injection. You should avoid self-injecting. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history, before starting this medicine.
